As the boy grows, there also comes a time when a boy enters the realm of sexual awareness.  He has probably been around his parents when they have made sexual comments.  Even though he may not understand those sexual comments, he observes Mom's and Dad's reaction which also registers as something of great importance.

Whether or not comments are actually suggestive, he has been around when older boys or men have talked about their sexual conquests.  Also, he has to deal with fast developing aggressions of his own sexual awareness, a sexual drive which often reaches its peak far in advance of his maturity.  Dealing with peer pressure in reference to sexual conquests puts sexual intercourse in the realm of competition.

Peer competition breeds aggression; strong aggression leaves no room for compassion.  Hence the innuendo, score and move on ... those who score and move on do not stick around to deal with the consequences of other feelings.  If you are not living in the dark ages you should be aware that sexual intercourse has become a thing of competition for women also.  And anyone who lives a life heavily governed by sexual aggression without commitment, will lie, cheat, and misrepresent facts, presenting themselves in any way deemed necessary to achieve
